ScanR Business Card Scanner captures the image and uploads it to the ScanR web site for processing. You receive the card back in email as a .vcf file that can easily be imported into your contacts. It takes a couple minutes after the image is uploaded to receive the OCR’d results back in email. The note field in the .vcf results contain all the text that didn’t fit into a contact field. The app did a decent job of the basic scans and provided slightly better performance in the color photo style business cards. Good FAQ style help and a very simple interface that walks you through the process.
