"Quick Office Mobile Office Suite supports word processing and spreadsheet functions. We only looking at the word processing in this review (we'll be adding a review of the Quickoffice spreadsheet and updating the spreadsheet article very soon). If MS Word compatibility is important this is one of three of the programs that have that area covered. A nice user interface and the ability to sync to iDisk make this a top contender.  

 

As with all the MS Word document compatible apps tested it displays tables, but doesn't allow editing or sizing. No spell checking, as with the others is disappointing. They should all take a lesson from the developer of ZenTap Pro (see review) in this area and a few other aspects of iPhone text editor user interface design.  

 

(Update) In my first release of this review I stated that Quickoffice didn't have an 'undo/redo' feature. Actually it does have 'undo' and 'redo' implemented in a unique way. The undo/redo uses the iPhone's motion detection interface element. You can 'undo' and/or 'redo' edits by shaking the iPhone. When shaken a context sensitive popup appears offering an undo selection and when appropriate a redo.

 

All-in-all a very nice app that also includes the spreadsheet tool. iDisk access makes this one of my personal favorites and the one I'll be using after all the testing and reviews are done. "
