"Documents by Savy Soda is primarily a spreadsheet app. It includes this basic text editor as part of the bundle. We reviewed the spreadsheet in another review and are only going to look at the text editor here.

 

Because the developer didn't appear to be targeting text editing as the primary purpose for this app it isn't loaded with text editor features. The one real strong point for this app is the ability to sync with Google Doc. If you're looking for a way to edit text files that are sync'd with Google Docs this may be all you need.

 

Built-in help takes you out of the app and opens Safari. If you get an incoming call in the middle of typing you are taken back to the startup screen when the call is over. The text is saved in an Autosave.txt file.

 

There's a full version for $2.99 but I don't think it includes any additional text editor features. "
